About Creek Caffe

Creek Caffe is a coffee education site built around one idea: great coffee should be simple to make, whether you’re at home or sitting by a creek with a camp stove.

What we cover

• Clear brew guides for pour-over, French press, cold brew and espresso
• Outdoor and backpacking coffee methods, with Leave No Trace practices
• The fundamentals: beans, roast, freshness and grind size

How we write

We give recipes by weight because it’s the most repeatable way to brew, include temperatures in both Celsius and Fahrenheit, and explain the reason behind every step so you can adjust to your own taste. Recipes are starting points, not laws.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell coffee or gear, and we don’t publish sponsored reviews, ratings or testimonials. When we mention a type of equipment, it’s because it’s widely used and useful to explain.

About the name

Yes, “caffe” with two f’s and one e — a nod to the Italian caffè and to mornings spent brewing outdoors by moving water.
